Dropping the bolt on a loaded chamber

When zeroing I like to feed 1 cartridge at a time. If I lay the cartridge on top of an empty magazine and release the bolt could it damage the extractor?
 
I don't think so, it should handle that, but I'd like to see what the others say about this
